Make A Passive Income From Alternative Revenue Streams


What’s the one thing we’d all like more of… Freedom, right?

What can give you more freedom? A healthy revenue stream. How many times have you struggled with cash flow issues?

It’s like a rollercoaster, one minute you’re buying a house, the next you’re selling your house and all its contents with it.

Wouldn’t be it great to make money while you sleep, SURE WOULD! Who doesn’t want to make a passive income from alternative revenue streams!

It doesn’t have to be a dream. I did it and so can you. It’s all about taking action and being okay with not knowing and being prepared to learn.

Ask yourself what’s holding you back. How much is it costing you not developing your online store? And there are so many platforms to help you create that passive income. The ones I’m using are Shopify, Pic-Time and Esty.  What they all have in common is that they make it SO easy to set-up and start your online journey. Did I just hear, “Welcome to the future?”

Now if you’re honest with yourself, you’ll have, like me loads of images, artwork, ideas, literally gathering dust on your shelf.

While they are gathering dust, Shopify is reaching 40 million customers worldwide…say what! Yep 40 million.

Then you’ve got PicTime which isn’t just for wedding photographers. The selection of framed prints, canvases, and other tangible printing material are extremely high end and their sales process is super easy. All you’ve got to do is upload those images and start making selling.

I’ve gone and got the online selling bug, it’s addictive I promise you. I’ve opened up an Esty store, still in the build phase. That’s what it’s all about, taking action, monetising your business and having fun.

So, you ask me… What can I sell?

I’ve had people buy one of my favourite items: my mugs. I’m a northerner and having a brew is part of our culture. You can also sell the following:

1: Physical products

With prints of demand fulfilment stores, such as Gooten and Printful, they have such an awesome collection, you’d never get bored of ideas.

2: Templates, designs, checklist.

Think about how you can help others save time. What did you need that you can create that others would need?

3: Tutorials, Videos, Presets.

I’ve realised that after years of creating my own presets for weddings, personal and commercial use, why not save people time and let them use mine. Plus, you can use Lightroom Mobile for free, so it’s a win-win for creative Instagram users. Check my 3 free presets here.

The feeling of accomplishment is real my friends, especially when you see clients holding tangible products with your artwork on them.

Once you’re all set up, you have to start marketing, right? I’ve been using this great app, that is integrated with Shopify, called KIT.

This little beauty sets up all my advertisements for me. Whatever it takes to make your life a little easier, I’m totally with you!

I also do a lot of organic marketing, but it is getting harder and harder to be heard. Facebook ads are the future.  It’s the best way to reach a wider audience and share your awesome products. DM on Insta if you want to know more about that.

I didn’t think it was possible to enter the digital era without some kind of PHD in tech, but, I was wrong. It’s totally possible and a little bit fun. If I can wrap my head around it, you my friend can do it to!
