The only additional costs are hair and makeup, which is your choice but highly recommended to get the best out of your shoot. I will also suggest booking an indoor location if your budget allows it because British weather can be unpredictable, which means it’s essential to have a place that works regardless of the weather. Also, an indoor location will give you somewhere comfortable to do your hair/makeup; somewhere safe where we know there are no distractions like other people around us or cars outside driving by - this way, every moment is ours! Lastly: It’s also nice to start each shoot getting tons of lifestyle shots around the house, sofas, at desks and on beds etc., because not everything we do in life is outdoors. But you don’t have to hire an indoor location; we can find a way around if it is due to budget restrictions; this is possible in summer rather than winter.

In London, I do not charge for travel. However, external of the M25, I charge an additional £50 to £100 depending on the location. 

If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date, then move or cancel it, the retainer is legally non-refundable, and a new deposit will have to be made to hold your new date. In addition, the cancelled date will not be available for another customer and will play havoc with the booking system and other customers.

A £577.50 deposit is required to book your date in the calendar. The remaining is then due two weeks before your shoot. All payment is processed via an online portal – apart from the location house, that's paid directly to the location agency. The payment plan has three payments to be made before the shoot or the last payment to be made two weeks to receive the final collection. 

Where in the world will you have your photoshoot? The possibilities are endless, but to be realistic, it’s usually where you live, where you’re vacationing, or an Airbnb that reflects you and your brand. These images will illustrate your business, so somewhere with an aesthetic in keeping with your brand’s look and feel, but more important than that is the lighting, as we can use outfits and props to style. Don’t worry, though—I don’t leave everything up to you. Picking a location is a collaborative process. Once you’re booked in, I’ll send you a guide all about location sourcing for your shoot. 

There isn’t a perfect number of outfits to bring to your shoot. However, I’d much rather you get too many outfits than too few because outfits are crucial to creating variety and diversity. Most people bring eight ballpark outfits with easy variations on each, so they stretch further—like adding a jacket or changing a t-shirt. I recommend taking the shot-list that we will put together and working through our plans by adding a look or two to each scene. I’ll also send you a guide on outfits and prop styling when you’re booked in. You’ll be super supported with this piece.

There’s a certain amount of weather I can create magic with. Overcast clouds, high sun, a slight drizzle... but if I believe the weather will ruin our shoot, your hair and makeup and my camera, then I will allow you to reschedule for free. This is entirely up to me to decide as I’m the one who knows what is possible in any given weather. It’s vital that we secure an indoor location with a flexible cancellation policy during the rainy season. But if we are doing just an indoor location shoot, we don’t need to worry!

I recommend it—makeup for shoots is different from makeup for everyday wear because cosmetics capture differently on camera. Therefore, your makeup must be applied in a way that makes it as visible on the image as it is in real life. A professional artist knows how to expertly exaggerate your makeup so that what you see in the mirror and what your clients/customers see on screen is as similar as possible! 

Also, my hair and makeup artist stay's all day long to make sure your hair’s constantly in place, and your makeup is consistently tweaked and touched up!

You will receive a minimum of 300 images, low and high res, on a beautiful private online cloud gallery to keep for yourself and send on to your team.

Shooting video is an art form and one that my team and I have mastered. We can provide you with high-quality B-roll footage for your website and social media channels, ensuring that all your marketing content is authentic and resonates with your ideal customers. Sure do! You’ll receive a guide on everything you need to know about location planning along with 1:1 help from me to search for a location. Then you’ll receive a styling guide so that you know what outfits and props to bring to support your shoot and brand aesthetic. All our plans are gathered in our collaborative Google Doc. Then two weeks out from your shoot, we will connect on WhatsApp if you have some quick-fire questions in the run-up, followed by a phone call a few days before your shoot to make sure you are feeling prepared and excited for our day together.

You’ll receive a highlight reel of around fifty images within one week of your shoot and the entire edit within two to three weeks.

The copyright of the images belongs to the photographer unless signed off in a written agreement. The fee for our shoot permits you to use your photos for your business and self-promotion: website, social, publications etc. However, you’re not able to sell the images to a third party. 

The is no need to provide you with RAW files. Firstly, they are huge files and challenging to transfer, secondly because most platforms and software don’t recognise raw, and thirdly because they are entirely unfinished. Until they’re colour balanced, profiled, processed out as jpegs, they will be unusable.

It depends, but I try not to; I capture it perfectly on camera first! I focus on authenticity and integrity and want our images to reflect that fully. I also work with the best makeup artists who pride themselves on a flawless finish, and I have 20 years of experience mastering light to become a visual expert. I know what is and isn’t flattering—your images will be fabulous, trust me!
